Job Opportunity: Senior Site Manager

My client, a well-established Blue Chip Building Contractor, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee a framework of refurbishment and new build projects valued between £4 million and £10 million. The Site Manager will be responsible for project delivery, requiring effective communication skills and the ability to lead a small team of Site Managers.

Note: The client has secured 7 years of work in the local area. A current temporary works ticket is essential for this role. The position offers flexibility for the right candidate to go permanent or remain on a contract basis.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience managing projects up to £12 million
2. Background with Top Tier Contractors
3. Proven client-facing experience

Responsibilities:

• Control all health and safety aspects on site
• Program work schedules and monitor progress to ensure compliance with regulations and budgets
• Manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work
• Plan logistics, manage plant and labor resources
• Conduct progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors
• Previous exposure to government-funded projects is desirable
