Job Title: Senior Site Manager

My client, a well-established Blue Chip Building Contractor, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee a framework of refurbishment and new build projects valued between 1 million and 5 million. The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of these projects, demonstrating effective communication skills and the ability to lead a small team of Site Managers. The client has secured 7 years of work in the local area.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience managing projects up to 5 million
• Background with Top Tier Contractors
• Proven client-facing experience
• Strong leadership qualities and soft skills
• Excellent health and safety management skills
• Strong technical and financial understanding

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all health and safety aspects on site
• Develop and monitor work schedules and project progress
• Ensure compliance with regulations and budget constraints
• Manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work
• Plan logistics, manage plant and labor resources
• Conduct progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors
• Previous experience with government-funded construction projects is preferred
