Job description

My client, a well-run Blue Chip Building Contractor, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee a framework of refurbishment and new build projects ranging from 4 million to 10 million. The Site Manager will be responsible for project delivery, must be an effective communicator, and capable of successfully leading a small team of Site Managers. Please note, the client already has 7 years of work secured in the local area. A current temporary works ticket is essential for this role. For the right candidate, there will be options to go permanent or stay on a contract basis.

The ideal Senior Site Manager must have the following:

1. Experience managing projects up to 12 million
2. Background with Top Tier Contractors
3. Proven client-facing experience
4. Strong project leadership qualities and soft skills
5. Excellent health and safety management awareness
6. Strong technical and financial acumen

Key responsibilities include controlling all aspects of health and safety on site, programming work schedules, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with regulations and budget constraints. You will manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work. Logistics planning, resource management, and progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors are also part of the role. Previous exposure to government-funded construction projects is preferred.

Profile: To be considered, you must have a solid construction background, experience with quality contractors, and a demonstrated track record of delivering high-profile projects.
