Job description

My client, a well-run Blue Chip Building Contractor, is looking for a Site Manager to work on a framework of refurbishment and new build projects ranging from 4 million to 10 million. The Site Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the project, must be an effective communicator, and able to successfully lead a small team of Site Managers.

Desired Senior Site Manager Profile:

• Experience of managing projects up to 5 million
• Background with Top Tier Contractors
• Proven client-facing experience
• Strong project leadership qualities and soft skills
• Excellent health and safety awareness and management
• Strong technical and financial acumen

Key Responsibilities:

• Controlling all aspects of health and safety on site
• Programming work schedules and monitoring building progress to ensure compliance with regulations and budget
• Managing site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work
• Planning logistics, managing plant and labour resources
• Conducting progress meetings with site teams and subcontractors
• Ideally, having previous exposure to government-funded construction projects
