Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and oversee the production team.

• Control labour, materials, and plant to meet critical path deadlines.
• Ensure work aligns with specifications and programme milestones.
• Provide accurate progress reports and dates to stakeholders.
• Monitor costs and minimise non-productive expenditures.
• Drive quality at every stage of construction.
• Achieve successful internal and external inspections pass.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.

Senior Site Manager

A residential developer is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager to oversee a new residential development in Holbeach, Lincolnshire.

The scheme consists of100 traditional-build, two-storey houses, all being delivered for aHousing Association (HA).

This would be a great opportunity for either an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step into their first Site Manager role. Ideally, you'll have a background in residential construction, with experience of partnerships or affordable housing schemes advantageous.

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, working alongside a full production team to ensure the development is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard

Duties

• No1, Site Manager
• Supporting the day to day running of the scheme
• Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
• Will work towards looking after more schemes for the business
• Managing the day-to-day operation from pilling - foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead times
• Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
• Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
• Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
• Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
• Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
• Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
• Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
• Handovers/CMLS
