Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Manager for industrial and warehouse construction projects across the Midlands, Staffordshire and North West. The role focuses on leading the site, coordinating teams, and delivering projects to schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have strong experience with main contractors, a hands-on approach, and flexibility to travel and lodge away when required for site locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Senior Site Manager - Industrial / Warehouse Construction

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established and growing Midlands-based main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality industrial, warehouse and commercial projects.

Due to continued growth and a strong secured order book, the company is looking to strengthen its operational team with the appointment of a Senior Site Manager capable of taking the lead on projects across the Midlands, Staffordshire and North West.

The Role

As Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful site delivery of new-build industrial and warehouse developments, managing projects through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking the site lead on new-build industrial and warehouse projects
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Driving the construction programme and ensuring key deadlines are achieved
• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, quality and site presentation
• Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team
• Managing site logistics and ensuring works are delivered efficiently
• Taking projects through to successful completion and handoverProjects are located across the Midlands, Staffordshire and North West, therefore applicants must be flexible to travel and lodge away when required, depending on project location.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced construction professional who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a main contractor
• Experience delivering projects from site and taking responsibility for day-to-day construction
• New-build industrial, warehouse or steel-frame experience would be advantageous, although not essential
• Strong subcontractor and programme management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to site management
• A stable employment background
• Flexibility to travel and lodge away when requiredA trade background would be advantageous, particularly candidates who have progressed into management from a Carpentry or Joinery background.
