Job summary

Vistry South East is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead a traditional build housing project at the Ford site, near Arundel. You will oversee daily operations, manage labour and resources, and ensure project milestones, quality and safety standards are met.

You will drive delivery on time and within budget, mentor site teams, and liaise with contractors, suppliers and customers. A strong focus on collaboration and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certificate and First Aid at Work are essential.
• Proven background in new build housing site management (traditional build).
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities; capable of team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on a traditional build housing project.
• Ensure adherence to specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards across the site.
• Direct labour, equipment and resources; coordinate with Purchasing and Surveying teams.
• Attend weekly meetings with the sales and site leadership teams.
• Ensure permits, inspections and NHBC standards compliance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team within Vistry South East, at our Ford site, nr Arundel, West Sussex (BN18 0DF). As our Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage teams, coordinate resources, enforce health and safety regulations, and liaise with contractors, suppliers, partners and customers. The Senior Site manager role will be directly reporting to the wider scheme Project manager and Construction Manager.
