Fawkes & Reece London are recruiting a Senior Site Manager for a £65m I&L new-build project based in Braintree, Essex. The role runs from external works through to fit-out, with packages covering groundworks, steel frame, cladding, roofing and window installation, parking on site, and a long-term freelance arrangement.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold is required.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• First Aid at Work certification required.
• Industrial experience in a site management role.
• Full driving license required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and to high quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with the Client and provide regular updates.
• Regular progress reporting to the on-site Senior Project Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure on-site duties meet high standards.
• Manage day-to-day operational duties on site.
• Continually improve operations, reduce turnaround times and streamline processes.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, analyse results and troubleshoot issues.
• Update and manage the programme using specialist software.

Senior Site Manager

Safe to say the market has definitely picked up, and it has led me to recruit for a Senior Site Manager for a large I&L project based in Braintree, Essex. It’s a £65m new build scheme.

The interview process will be next week with a ASAP, happy to wait notice periods for the right candidate as it is a long term position.

About the role:

The project started around mid April and only early works has been done so far, we need someone to take the project from external works through to the fit out. The project requires a commercial fit out as well as the new build steel frame. Packages also include, groundworks, steel frame, cladding, roofing, window installation and full fit out.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards
• Key liaison with Client, ensuring Client is regularly updated
• Regular progress reporting to the on site Senior Project Manager
• Effective management and co-ordination of subcontractors and ensure all personnel on site conduct their duties to the highest standards.
• Manage day to day operational duties
• Continually improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Develop and deliver progress reports, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas
• Update and manage the programme using a specialist software
