Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced site investigation professional to lead projects across London and the South East. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Essentially, you will manage RAMS, programmes, cost control, and reporting, coordinating field teams and subcontractors to deliver complex ground investigations on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of site investigation techniques and ground investigation standards.
• Experience with borehole logging and geotechnical data reporting.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and South East.
• CSCS Manager level and health and safety qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing site investigation projects from inception through to completion.
• Preparing RAMS and Programmes of Work, including cost management.
• Supervising field operations and procurement of plant/equipment.
• Undertaking soil and rock logging per industry standards.
• Planning and overseeing day-to-day project activities.
• Managing subcontractors and specialists to deliver project scopes.
• Monitoring progress against programmes and cost controls.
• Preparing and submitting Applications for Payment.
• Compiling and issuing project deliverables, data, and reports.
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Ensuring work complies with company HSE procedures.
