Job summary

Anderson Knight are recruiting a Financial Controller/Site Finance Lead for our Scottish client. On site, you will be the trusted business partner to the Site Director, overseeing the full site P&L with a focus on EBITDA, stock and cash, while shaping the role for future group opportunities.

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Proven ability to partner with site leadership and budget holders.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to the Site Lead and leadership team, giving clear insight and constructive challenge, and working with colleagues at every level from shop floor to senior management.
• Work with budget holders to manage, control and challenge spend, both direct and overhead.
• Support continuous improvement through robust analysis and validation of efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
• Produce accurate daily variance reporting, weekly P&L and monthly management information.
• Own the site's quarterly reforecasts, annual budget and standard setting, working closely with the group FP&A team.
• Lead the weekly and monthly capture of risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to product portfolio decisions through the S&OP process.
• Support weekly and monthly payroll with accuracy and strong controls.
• Ensure compliance with group internal controls and keep balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard.
• Manage one direct report and deputise for the Operations Finance Controller when required.
• Champion process standardisation, automation and AI initiatives.
