Job summary

Hextra Limited seeks a Senior Engineer to lead a team on seismically qualified concrete structures, overseeing pre-construction and construction phases on-site in London.

You will manage interdisciplinary tasks, coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site staff, and report to Chief Engineer and Project Manager.

A civil engineering degree and strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience running more than one section discipline, preferably with experience in structural concrete.
• Passion for delivering a Quality First product and nuclear quality compliance and assurance.
• Technically proficient and problem solving minds.
• Fantastic communication skills.
• A collaborative approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• On-site responsibilities include setting out, progress markups, surveying and keeping records.
• Interface between internal departments and external agencies such as architects, engineers, construction workers, subcontractors, client agents, clerks of works, and site staff.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure obligations are understood and discharged.
• Participate in regular site progress meetings to monitor progress, quality and safety and report to Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Project Director.
