Job summary

3D Personnel is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to drive a £100M student accommodation project in Central London. You will support the Site Manager with daily operations and act as the technical adviser for specialist subcontractors on site.

Key duties include setting out, levelling, surveying, QA, temporary works checks, and reviewing reinforcement drawings. A Engineering degree/HND and 6+ years' experience are required, along with strong health & safety knowledge and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree / HND in engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years postgraduate experience.
• Experience setting out £10m+ structures.
• Ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results.
• IT literate with MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Flexibility with regards to site location within the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations as required.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, including groundworks and concrete frame contractor.
• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co–ordination.
• Checking plans, drawings and setting out co–ordination.
• Prior knowledge of calling off reinforcement from schedules and ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Detailed record keeping of QA inspections on a daily/weekly basis.
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.
