Job summary

TEXO Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support on-site civil projects. You will set out, survey and interpret drawings, ensuring works align with programme and quality requirements.

You will provide technical guidance to site teams, check levels and tolerances, and collaborate with managers and designers to resolve issues while upholding health and safety standards. Permanent and contract opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Engineer within construction/civil engineering.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of construction methods and site procedures.
• Experience with health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying duties on site.
• Interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams.
• Check levels, dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor works to ensure quality and standards.
• Complete site records and documentation.
• Liaise with Site Managers and design teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Assist with planning and coordination of construction activities.
• Ensure works follow health and safety requirements.
• Support and mentor junior engineers where required.
