TEXO Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support on-site civil projects. You will set out, survey and interpret drawings, ensuring works align with programme and quality requirements.

You will provide technical guidance to site teams, check levels and tolerances, and collaborate with managers and designers to resolve issues while upholding health and safety standards. Permanent and contract opportunities available.

Formación

• Proven experience as Site Engineer within construction/civil engineering.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of construction methods and site procedures.
• Experience with health and safety requirements.

TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Senior Site Engineers to join an established construction business, with opportunities available on both a permanent and contract basis.

The successful candidate will provide technical support on site, ensuring works are set out accurately and delivered in line with drawings, specifications, programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying duties on site
• Interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams
• Check levels, dimensions and tolerances
• Monitor works to ensure they are completed to the required standard
• Complete site records, surveys and relevant documentation
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and design teams
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site
• Assist with planning and coordination of construction activities
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety and quality requirements
• Support and mentor junior engineers where required

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential Proven experience working as a Site Engineer within construction/civil engineering
• Strong setting out and surveying experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good understanding of construction methods and site procedures
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
• Experience working on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Experience using AutoCAD or relevant engineering/surveying software
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior engineers
