Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Site Supervisor for a £70 million DfE school project in the Walsall area. You will oversee subcontract packages from groundworks to internals, ensuring QA, safety and construction standards are met.

You will review drawings, coordinate with external parties, provide clear progress reports to management and attend client and subcontractor progress meetings. CSCS is a minimum requirement and you must be IT proficient to manage documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising subcontract packages from groundworks to internals.
• Ensures QA, health & safety and construction standards are met on site.
• Ability to review drawings and specifications and resolve technical queries.
• Provide clear progress reports to management and attend progress meetings.

Job description

£70 Million new school development as part of the DfE framework. Project will involve part demolition of the existing sections of the school building and the construction of a new sports hall and teaching block, internal/external alterations to the existing building along with associated landscaping, car parking areas. Reporting in to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the supervision, health & safety and control of associated subcontract packages from groundworks through to internals primarily providing QA documentation, review drawings and specifications ensuring they were delivered to the required line, level, quality and construction standards and as well as work providing clear progress reports to management. Other duties will also include assisting with any technical/design issues and queries working in conjunction with external parties to assist in any resolution, also general day to day management along with site team, attending both client and subcontractor progress meetings.

Will need to be full IT proficient as well as holding current CSCS card as a minimum requirement.
