What You'll Be Doing:

As a Senior Site Engineer, you'll be a pivotal part of the project team, ensuring smooth operations and successful project delivery from the ground up. Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading Site Compliance: Ensuring all activities strictly adhere to SHEQ policies, conducting thorough inductions, and ensuring robust risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place. Your vigilance keeps everyone safe and compliant.
Driving Quality: Working hand-in-hand with the Project team to guarantee all construction work meets the highest standards set by contract drawings and specifications.
Precision Setting Out: Taking ownership of accurate setting out and dimensional control, ensuring every element is precisely where it needs to be, within specified tolerances.
Documentation & Reporting: Producing and approving RAMS, implementing critical procedures, conducting inspections, and maintaining meticulous daily records for labour, materials, and plant. You'll also manage all project documentation, keeping it current and accessible.
Proactive Communication: Identifying and communicating potential programme risks, variations, and any commercial or contractual implications to the Project and Commercial Managers, ensuring everyone is always on the same page.

What We're Looking For:

You'll be a seasoned professional with a strong track record and a proactive approach.

A Degree, HND, or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Senior Site Engineer role within the UK construction industry.
Proven expertise in setting out for large-scale construction contracts is essential.
A valid driving license.
SMSTS certification.
