This nationwide Building Structures Engineering consultancy has recently established a Leeds office and is seeking a Principal / Associate level Structural Engineer to join their team. You will act as the lead consultant on projects, providing C&S representation and input at key stages, and ensuring that C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and within your team.

To be considered, you should have a desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering design, and mentor junior staff. You should be experienced in developing Structural/Civil Engineering designs through various project stages independently, comfortable in developing engineering concepts, and capable of communicating them effectively to clients, architects, and staff during meetings.

You should be able to apply analysis techniques for calculations of all structural elements and manage the preparation of such calculations by junior staff. Demonstrating the ability to break down complex structures into components for element design, and communicate this to colleagues, is essential.

You should also be comfortable representing the company at both internal and external meetings.
