Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available for a Senior Site Engineer who can provide a diverse range of skills, from day-to-day setting out to management of sub-contracts and acting as a key technical support to the site management team for a large new build project based in Leeds.

The position involves joining a leading main contractor with a strong pipeline of work through 2026 and beyond, based in the Leeds area due to secured workload.

The role will have key responsibilities including:

1. Setting out building, structures, and civils works.
2. Supervision of subcontractors and direct labour specific to your role.
3. Providing guidance and input into design where appropriate.
4. Working closely with the project delivery team and supporting areas such as quality and health & safety.
5. Attending site meetings.
6. Completing documentation and reports related to your responsibilities.

To be considered, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Experience as a standalone site engineer, ideally with a building or civils background.
• Hold a minimum of an HNC in a relevant construction qualification.
• Ability to set out using an EDM.
• Comfortable supervising and directing on key engineering stages and decisions.
• Strong IT skills, including basic knowledge of CAD.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
