CarmichaelUK is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a major highways project in the North West. You will manage delivery from planning through to completion, focusing on bridges, culverts, earthworks and drainage, with emphasis on temporary works coordination.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with the client and design teams, and ensure safety, QA/QC and programme compliance across complex multidisciplinary packages. A strong civils/heavy highways background is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Site Agent/Sub Agent/Senior Site Engineer on major highways/heavy civil projects.
• Strong track record in new carriageway construction and highway structures (bridges, culverts).
• Ability to manage temporary works and RAMS/ITP documentation.
• Hands-on leadership of site teams, coordination with clients and design teams.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day delivery of major highways and civil works.
• Oversee construction of new carriageways and highway infrastructure.
• Coordinate structural packages including bridges, culverts and RC works.
• Lead temporary works with designers and TWCs.
• Review RAMS, ITPs, permits and construction methodologies.
• Manage Site Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensure works delivered safely per drawings and programme.
• Coordinate interfaces between packages (highways, structures, earthworks).
• Lead daily site briefings and progress reviews.
• Maintain QA/QC, inspections and construction records.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with client, designers and commercial team.
• Support short-term programming and lookaheads.
