Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead key highways delivery in the North West. You will manage day-to-day construction activities, oversee pavements, street lighting and earthworks, coordinating with subcontractors and the project team to meet the programme.

The role requires strong RAMS/ITP knowledge, robust leadership, and a proven track record on major highways or infrastructure projects. Permanent position with salary 60–70k, DOE.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• SMSTS and CSCS are desirable qualifications.
• Temporary Works experience/qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities on the highways project.
• Oversee pavements, carriageways and earthworks packages.
• Coordinate street lighting works and interfaces.
• Monitor progress against milestones and programme.
• Manage subcontractors, engineers and site operatives.
• Ensure works comply with RAMS and ITPs.
• Maintain site records and reporting.
