Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is looking for an experienced Site Agent / Project Manager to lead earthworks and heavy civils on a major infrastructure scheme in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

The client will consider candidates for either a permanent position or a long-term contract, with a focus on safe, efficient delivery of a substantial construction package and effective coordination of engineers, subcontractors and site resources.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Managing major earthworks and heavy civils packages.
• Coordinating site engineers, supervisors, foremen and subcontractors.
• Planning labour, plant, materials and site resources.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS and construction documentation.
• Monitoring progress against the construction programme.
• Identifying and resolving potential programme or delivery issues.
• Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring works meet drawings and specifications.
• Maintaining health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Attending progress and coordination meetings.
• Liaising with clients, designers and other project stakeholders.

Education

Civil Engineering degree / related discipline
