Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking a SHE Advisor to join the Scotland Energy team in North Lanarkshire. You will embed a positive safety culture across site operations, working with project teams to ensure top levels of safety, health, environment and wellbeing.

Role involves leading SHE matters, supporting incident investigations, and coordinating with clients and supply chain to uphold standards across major energy infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a regulated energy/infrastructure setting.
• Experience on infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of SHE principles, legislation and best practice.
• Experience leading or supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Initiative and solutions-focused problem solving.
• Ability to challenge behaviours constructively to uphold safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, advice, and support to project teams on all SHE matters.
• Embed and champion Protecting People Commitment across projects.
• Ensure compliance with SHE legislation and industry standards.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and promote best practice.
• Support and mentor SHEQ team members.
• Lead or assist with accident and incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Act as key contact for clients and supply chain on SHE matters.
• Report on SHEQ performance and metrics.
