Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure seeks a SHE Manager to lead the Health & Safety function on the Clyde Commercial Framework at Faslane, supporting the DIO programme from ECI through construction delivery.

You will report to the Head of SHEQS, manage the day‑to‑day Health & Safety team, drive safety culture, and ensure compliance with legislation, procedures and client requirements across major infrastructure activities.

Qualifications

• CMIOSH membership.
• Previous experience managing and leading Health & Safety teams.
• Health & Safety experience within a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction Health & Safety legislation, standards, and best practice.
• Proven ability to influence and engage with teams at all levels.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day‑to‑day activities of the framework Health & Safety team.
• Provide support to the Head of SHEQS across the framework.
• Function as deputy to the Head of SHEQS during periods of absence.
• Promote and maintain a positive Health & Safety culture across all project activities.
• Provide Health & Safety advice and support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and statutory legislation.
• Monitor Health & Safety performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and reviews across the framework.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure safe planning and delivery of construction activities.
• Support the transition of the framework from ECI into full construction delivery.
