Job summary

Arcona Group Ltd is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a long-term role on a major residential project in Battersea. You will operate as a self-employed professional delivering precise setting out across foundations, slabs, columns and cores with strong drawing interpretation and QA records.

You will establish control points, coordinate with site teams and subcontractors, maintain logs, monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specs and temporary works requirements over a 55-hour week.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 4 years of experience in setting out/site engineering.
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience with large concrete/RC frame projects.

Responsibilities

• Set out all structural elements (foundations, slabs, columns, walls, cores, temporary works).
• Interpret and verify construction drawings before works commence.
• Establish control points, benchmarks, and site grids throughout the project.
