Job summary

Infinity Quest Uk is seeking a ServiceNow Developer (Platform Engineering) in Glasgow. You will design and build on the ServiceNow platform, and also create external services where appropriate, ensuring clean integration and scalable solutions.

The role requires deep scripting, strong JavaScript, and proven integration experience across REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub. Hybrid work in Glasgow 3 days per week, contract duration 12 months with market-rate compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building on ServiceNow with real scripting depth
• Strong JavaScript and at least one other language (Python/Java/Go)
• Practical integration experience: REST APIs, auth patterns, error handling
• SQL and data modelling understanding
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, production readiness

Responsibilities

• Design and build on ServiceNow: catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions and ACLs
• Write server-side and client-side scripts that survive upgrades
• Build integrations: REST and SOAP, IntegrationHub spokes, MID Server patterns, OAuth
• Create external services (Python/Node) and integrate them with the platform
• Debug across boundaries: logs, traces, payloads, upstream systems, auth issues
• Advise on cost-effective solutions and reduce technical debt
• Maintain code quality: version control, ATF/test coverage, documentation
