Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Registered Service Manager to lead a well-established residential service in the Peterborough area. You will oversee eight adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, ensuring high-quality care, compliance and positive outcomes for the supported individuals.

You will work with families, healthcare professionals and commissioners, delivering strong leadership, staff development and community integration while maintaining excellent standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience working within Learning Disability services.
• Experience supporting people with complex care needs.
• Knowledge of epilepsy and physical disabilities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good understanding of CQC expectations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, or willingness to achieve this.
• Previous Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of the service.
• Leading, developing and motivating your team.
• Completing supervisions, appraisals and performance management.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and colleague development.
• Ensuring regulatory, legislative and company standards are met.
• Completing audits, action plans and service reviews.
• Managing service budgets and resources effectively.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with families and professionals.
• Promoting person-centred practice and positive outcomes for the people we support.
• Participating in the on-call rota as required.
