Zusammenfassung

Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Senior Sensory HLTA to lead a team of HLTAs supporting Deaf children and young people across Lancashire, working with Deaf Role Model and Teachers of Deaf Children. The role involves direct pupil work (BSL/language skills), planning and implementing support, and contributing to outcomes and EHC plans.

The post is permanent, term-time only (32.5 hours/week) with travel across Lancashire.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a senior/leadership role within a school.
• Experience or insights into working with D/deaf pupils.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Understanding of deaf learners' needs and communication approaches.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of HLTAs in collaboration with Deaf Role Model and Teachers.
• Direct work with pupils, developing BSL or targeted interventions.
• Identify and assess needs; contribute to Education Health and Care Plans.
