Job summary

Charter Schools Educational Trust seeks an experienced SEND leader to drive inclusion and excellence across its academies. The role initially strengthens leadership capacity at Lyndhurst Primary School before expanding to a wider Trust remit.

You will work closely with headteachers and SENDCos to provide strategic direction, coach SEND leaders, and ensure high-quality statutory SEND delivery, improving outcomes for all pupils with SEND.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher and qualified SENDCo.
• Strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND.
• Experience leading SEND strategy and statutory processes.
• Ability to coach SEND leaders and support inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership and strategic direction for SEND.
• Support schools in developing inclusive and effective practice.
• Lead and quality-assure statutory SEND processes.
• Coach and develop SEND leaders across the Trust.
• Contribute to school improvement and inspection readiness.
• Ensure pupils with SEND receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
