Job summary

Concordia Academy is seeking a SENDCo to manage provision for pupils with SEND, promoting high-quality teaching and effective resource use while upholding safeguarding standards. You will collaborate with the leadership and inclusion team to ensure inclusive practice for all pupils with additional needs.

Experience in SENDCo is advantageous, but a willingness to learn and develop as a senior leader is essential. The role emphasizes professional development, safeguarding, and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Knows what high expectations in the classroom look like and can support daily.
• Has a passion for SEND and inclusive practice.
• Can lead, support and model effective practice to other staff.
• Has or will achieve the National SENDCo Award.
• Will support safeguarding with Level 3 DSL qualification (or willingness to achieve).
• Committed to ongoing professional development.
