Job summary

YMCA East Surrey is seeking a motivated lead for Service Delivery, Planning and Engagement to plan and deliver high-quality activities for children and young people with additional needs. You will lead Play & Youth Workers, Disability Leaders and volunteers, ensuring safe delivery and adherence to budgets, while developing strategies and training for staff.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured, recreational activities for children and young people with additional needs.
Deliver area clubs in line with delivery plan, attendance, staff and budget.
Provide operational cover across Disability Services as required.
Develop strategies and behavioural support plans for attendees.
Lead and line-manage a team of Play & Youth Workers and volunteers.
Provide guidance as lead practitioner, including on-site management of club structure.
Design and deliver training sessions to CYP staff.
Coordinate planning, allocation of places and staffing to ensure safe delivery of clubs.
Maintain attendance, waiting lists, and budgets.
Work with children, young people and families to identify activities and capture feedback to shape sessions.
Ensure safeguarding policies are followed.
Log and act on safeguarding incidents promptly.
Monitor Short Breaks clubs for Ofsted compliance.
Monitor staff compliance and safety.
