Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a Behaviour Mentor (SEND HLTA) to support pupils with learning difficulties in a southeast London school.

The role is based in Bromley/Orpington area, 8:00–16:00, five days a week, working with challenging behaviour and 1:1 support as required.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEND, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
• 5 days a week and able to commit to a contract 8 am start (this can not be changed)

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in group or 1:1 settings within a school environment.
• Assist with classroom activities and behaviour management.
• Work with teaching staff to implement individual education plans.
• Be available to start at 8:00 and work until 16:00, five days a week.
