Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced Secondary SEN Teachers to join specialist SEN schools on a long-term basis in the West Midlands. You will deliver differentiated lessons for students with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD and SEMH, while adapting to EHCP targets and maintaining inclusive classroom practices.

Ideal candidates hold QTS/QTLS or equivalent, with demonstrable SEND experience and a strong commitment to safeguarding. DBS Update Service or willingness to apply is required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children or young people with SEND.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet EHCP targets.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to secondary students with SEND.
• Assess, monitor and record progress; contribute to reviews.
• Collaborate with TAs, SENCOs, therapists and other staff.
