Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment seeks an experienced SEN Teacher for a specialist SEN school in Sheffield, offering a full-time, term-time only role. Pay ranges £160-£240 per day, depending on experience.

The role involves delivering differentiated lessons and supporting pupils with a range of complex needs in a calm, structured classroom. You will work alongside teaching assistants and a wider specialist team, adapting teaching to individual needs and maintaining high expectations to improve pupil

Qualifications

• Experience working in SEN/specialist or alternative provision settings.
• Able to differentiate and personalise teaching to meet individual needs.
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN.
• Support pupils with complex learning and additional needs.
• Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour and support emotional regulation.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils and understand their individual needs.
• Collaborate with TAs, SLT and other professionals.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Support pupils to develop academically and personally.
