Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is recruiting an exceptional Duty Security Manager to oversee security operations at Olympia in London. You will lead a hands-on shift, manage incidents, and ensure staff briefing, deployment and compliance across a complex estate.

The role requires an experienced security leader, capable of decisive action, with a current SIA licence and a track record in high‑profile venues and demanding environments.

Qualifications

• A current SIA Door Supervisor licence maintained throughout employment.
• Operational security-management experience in complex estates or major venues.
• Proven command of security and life-safety incidents, including fire evacuations.
• Experience developing and coaching security officers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver risk-led briefings before officer posts begin.
• Deploy teams based on events, attendance, and intelligence.
• Maintain strong presence estate-wide and address performance issues.
• Manage welfare, absences and return-to-work conversations per policy.
• Produce clear handovers for the next Duty Security Manager.
• Act as primary operational contact during shifts and escalate as needed.
• Ensure licences and competencies are valid for duties.
• Develop officers through feedback, checks and acting-up opportunities.
