Job summary

Ofgem is seeking a Principal Security Specialist (IT/OT) to lead the design, assessment and implementation of innovative security solutions across critical systems. This permanent role sits in the Cyber Guidance & Monitoring team, with hybrid working and offices in Cardiff, London or Glasgow.

You will drive security improvement programs, engage with diverse stakeholders, and apply best-practice controls to strengthen resilience of the UK's energy infrastructure, supported by a strong Civil

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technical security risk and delivering improvement plans.
• Experience providing security guidance to stakeholders responsible for critical systems.
• Experience applying security frameworks (NCSC CAF, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) to improve resilience.
• Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
