Job summary

Target Security Specialist role in Aberdeen, Scotland, part of the Assets Protection team. The position focuses on intelligence-led security, incident documentation, and loss-prevention efforts.

You'll engage guests and team members, monitor the store for safety, respond to security incidents, and help maintain a secure shopping environment. Weekend/evening flexibility is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Support sales by welcoming and engaging guests and team members at the front of store and on the sales floor.
• Lead a physical security culture by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store.
• Respond to and accurately document security incidents.
• Understand and leverage escalation tools for guest issues to provide a safe environment.
• Conduct merchandise protection and document incidents following AP policies.
