Job summary

Olo is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and implement strategic risk mitigation across our scalable platform. You will mentor engineers, drive automated security workflows, and partner with product and IT to embed secure design and operations.

You will lead incident response, threat detection, and proactive risk management while ensuring compliance and best practices, with a fully remote role within the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years in security engineering and operations, blue team, and DevOps.
• Knowledge of incident response, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity standards.
• Experience with cloud providers and IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in AWS security best practices and modern security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead detection, response, and incident handling across systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation and coordinate effective resolutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote secure coding practices.
• Develop and maintain security tooling, automation, and SOS procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into architecture.
• Support compliance through documentation, audits, and metrics.
