Job summary

Idox is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to support the maintenance and enhancement of our security posture, coordinate major security incidents, and provide technical oversight across security operations.

You will work with the Group Security Operations Manager to keep ISMS and ISO 27001 in good shape, coordinate incident responses during UK hours, and ensure stakeholders are mobilised through containment, recovery and post-incident review.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on IT security or security operations.
• Experience coordinating security incidents under pressure and logging decisions.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIST CSF, ITIL, PCI DSS, UK GDPR.
• Understanding of OWASP security principles.
• Clear written communication and audit evidence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduled IT security tasks, audits and validation of security controls.
• Coordinate responses to escalated issues and incident management.
• Lead coordination of major security incidents during UK working hours.
• Ensure stakeholders are informed and supported through containment and recovery.
• Support ISMS and regulatory obligations.
