Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, build and operate security solutions across our cloud-native platforms. You will work with 1st/2nd line InfoSec and engineers to ship secure code and guardrails daily, turning policy into actionable code.

You will implement vulnerability scanning, access monitoring, and AI security guardrails, collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive secure defaults and rapid incident response in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying applications into cloud-native environments.
• Proven ability to deploy AI security solutions and guardrails.
• Experience automating security processes and building security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy security controls and guardrails across cloud-native platforms.
• Run password audits, vulnerability scans, and intrusion detection to close gaps.
• Automate security processes as code and embed IaC checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct risk audits and translate findings into actionable engineering guidance.
• Monitor system access logs, flag anomalies, and support incident response.
• Plan and test disaster recovery and backup processes for platform resiliency.
