National Site Security Leader

Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Security SME to develop and implement site security designs and plans to protect people, property and assets. You will lead contractual security provision and ensure compliance with current regulations, legislation and contractual requirements while fostering accountability and strong stakeholder relationships.

This is a national, home-based role with travel across the UK (overnight stays as needed).

Qualifications

• Level 5 or above security qualification or substantial sector experience.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• SIA Front Line Licences SG, DS.
• Be a full member of the Security Institute with CPD ongoing development.
• BS7858 Vetting readiness.
• Experience with security risk analysis and site audits.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 and cyber security principles.
• Financial and commercial management experience.
• Open-source security intelligence sources.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of the security services scope on the account.
• Focal point for all security incidents/escalations and incident management.
• Lead security operations in compliance with statutory, company, legal and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with UK colleagues on Site Security, HSE and Fire Prevention requirements.
• Ensure effective communications and timely issue resolution.
• Oversee external providers delivering Security services to the contract.
• Liaise with client and customer security teams as required.
• Evaluate performance data and implement remedial action plans.
• Maintain/update SOPs and Security Manuals; ensure staff read and understand.
