Job summary

NVC Security is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager based in Derby to lead the day-to-day operational and contractual performance of a local authority account. You will coordinate manned guarding, keyholding, alarm response and mobile security operations, ensuring high standards and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and a proactive, professional approach to security management. Travel between client sites will be required and on-call responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior security operations, contract management or security management role.
• Experience managing local authority, public-sector, facilities management or multi-site security contracts advantageous.
• SIA licence in Door Supervision or Close Protection.
• Checkable work history covering the previous five years.
• Strong leadership and client-relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all security operations for the contract, including manned guarding, keyholding, alarm response and incident management.
• Manage operational performance, staff deployment, training and team development.
• Maintain contract quality and compliance with legislation and NVC Security standards.
• Act as primary operational contact for the client and manage meetings/site visits.
• Produce regular management information and performance reports and lead reviews.
