Job Description:

Hawksworth is recruiting for a Senior Security Architect for Network & Cloud for a global law firm. You will lead the design and development of the firm’s cloud network security solutions.

The role is ideally based in Belfast but can also be remote with infrequent travel to London or Belfast for meetups or meetings. Flexibility to work within EMEA hours is required.

Salary is competitive and will be discussed on an individual basis.

This senior role involves working within the Cloud Security team, which includes 5 dedicated architects. You will collaborate with clients, security architects, MS365 architects, vulnerability architects, and PKI architects. The successful candidate will report to the Security Engineering Director and work closely with the wider Security Engineering Group.

Required skills & experience:

• Experience managing enterprise network security solutions, particularly with CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) and CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform).
• Skills in Microsoft technologies related to Cloud Access Security: Microsoft Defender (Cloud Apps), Microsoft Entra ID, CNAPP.
• Optional experience with Palo Alto Prisma or Vectra AI.
• 3-5 years of experience in cloud network security solutions engineering; candidates with 3 years of demonstrable experience in enterprise monitoring network and security solutions in the cloud will also be considered.
• Background in network security or security engineering.
• Ideally, 10 years of experience, but 3+ years of relevant experience will suffice.
• Zscaler experience is an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, especially Microsoft Entra ID.
