Hawksworth is recruiting for a Senior Security Architect for Network & Cloud at a global law firm. You will lead the design and development of the firm’s cloud network security solutions.

The role is ideally based in Belfast but can also be remote with infrequent travel to London or Belfast for meetings. Flexibility to work within EMEA hours is required.

Salary is competitive and to be discussed individually.

This is a senior role within the Cloud Security team, working alongside 5 dedicated architects and collaborating with clients, security architects, MS365 architects, vulnerability architects, and PKI architects. The Senior Security Architect reports directly to the Security Engineering Director and works closely with the wider Security Engineering Group.

Required skills & experience:

• Experience managing enterprise network security solutions, especially CASB and CNAPP.
• Skills in Microsoft cloud security technologies: Microsoft Defender (Cloud Apps), Microsoft Entra ID, CNAPP.
• Additional useful experience includes Palo Alto Prisma or Vectra AI.
• 3-5 years in cloud network security solutions engineering; candidates with 3 years of relevant enterprise experience will also be considered.
• Background in network security or security engineering.
• Ideally, 10 years of experience, but a minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in cloud security solutions will suffice.
• Zscaler experience is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, especially Microsoft Entra ID.
