Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Engineer to design and operate security controls protecting our internal networks, workforce identities, endpoints and corporate systems. You will work globally with teams across US, EU and APAC, delivering against goals to reduce risk and mature controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Security Engineering or Corporate Security.
• Hands-on IAM administration (Okta, Google Workspace).
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Workspace products.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Experience with modern authentication standards (FIDO2, WebAuthn, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
• Experience securing macOS, Windows and Linux endpoints using MDM and EDR/XDR tooling.
• Experience operating SIEM and/or SOAR platforms and tuning detection logic.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patch governance.
• Ability to write production-grade automation scripts.
• Leadership of cross-functional technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain core corporate security controls (MFA, JIT, RBAC, zero-trust).
• Own technical strategy for Endpoint trust, DLP, IP storage, and SaaS security.
• Balance risk reduction with usability in security implementations.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to embed security in workflows.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Lead cross-functional security initiatives end-to-end.
