Job summary

NTT DATA UK & Ireland seeks an experienced Senior Application Security Consultant to lead secure software development and testing efforts. The role focuses on embedding security into DevOps, driving vulnerability testing, and ensuring security standards across customer environments.

You will report to the Director of Security Development and Testing. Responsibilities include managing security testing lifecycles, coordinating with technical teams, and guiding secure coding practices to improve

Qualifications

5+ years in leading secure software development, testing, or DevSecOps environments.
Hands-on experience with security testing tools (e.g., Veracode, SonarQube, Burp Suite, etc.).
Familiarity with secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and threat modelling.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.
Eligible for SC clearance in the UK.

Responsibilities

Oversee the planning and execution of secure development and testing services across projects.
Work with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Help maintain and improve automated security testing workflows.
Support threat modelling and secure design practices at the project level.
Participate in security reviews of new features and applications.
Track vulnerability remediation efforts and support developers with secure coding guidance.
