Job summary

NTT DATA UK in Birmingham/London Hybrid is seeking a Security Development and Test Manager to drive secure software development practices across multiple projects. You will lead security testing activities, integrate tools into CI/CD, and collaborate with DevOps teams to raise security maturity.

Reporting to the Director of Security Development and Testing, you will shape secure coding standards, perform threat modelling, and support client engagements with testing results and assessments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading secure software development, testing, or DevSecOps environments.
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools (Veracode, SonarQube, Burp Suite).
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and threat modelling.
• Experience in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Security or DevSecOps certifications (CSSLP, CEH, GWEB) preferred.
• Eligible for UK SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery quality and SLA/KPI compliance.
• Lead secure development and testing services across projects.
• Embed security tools (SAST/DAST/DAST) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support threat modelling and secure design reviews.
• Monitor testing coverage and remediation trends.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement in processes.
