Job summary

SRG is seeking a Senior Scientist with PBPK/PBBM expertise to develop mechanistic models for drug development across all stages. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to predict in vivo performance, inform formulation decisions, and support regulatory submissions.

The role requires strong modelling skills, software experience (Simcyp, GastroPlus, PK-Sim) and the ability to communicate complex results clearly. 12-month contract, hourly pay rates apply.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in a relevant scientific discipline; MSc requires substantial PBPK/PBBM experience.
• Expertise in PBPK/PBBM, pharmacometrics, and mechanistic modelling.
• Strong knowledge of oral absorption, dissolution, and PK.
• Experience with PBPK/PBBM software such as Simcyp, GastroPlus, PK-Sim.
• Ability to apply modelling to solve development challenges; strong science communication.
• Publications, reports, or regulatory contributions demonstrate productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply PBPK/PBBM models using leading platforms.
• Predict oral absorption, food effect, and bioavailability in development.
• Calibrate models, run sensitivity analyses, and assess uncertainty.
• Collaborate with wet-lab and clinical teams to link in vitro/in vivo data.
• Support regulatory submissions with modelling analyses.
