Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacometrics, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in PBPK, PBBM, pharmacometrics, mechanistic modelling, or model-informed drug development.
• Experience with PBPK/PBBM modelling software such as Simcyp, GastroPlus, PK-Sim, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of oral absorption, dissolution, permeability, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, verify, and apply PBBM and PBPK models using platforms such as Simcyp, GastroPlus, or equivalent software.
• Support prediction of oral absorption, food effects, bioavailability, formulation bridging, and dissolution.
• Calibrate models, perform sensitivity analyses, scenario testing, and uncertainty assessments.
• Collaborate with laboratory scientists to design in vitro studies supporting model development.
• Support development of dissolution methods and in vitro–in vivo links.
• Communicate modelling outcomes through reports, team presentations, regulatory documents, and publications.
• Contribute to advancing modelling methodologies, automation, and AI/ML-enabled tools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to contribute to innovative projects by applying mechanistic modelling approaches to predict in vivo drug performance and optimize formulations. Based within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate closely with scientists across biopharmaceutics, formulation development, clinical pharmacology, and pharmacokinetics, leveraging your expertise to support model-informed decision-making and regulatory submissions.
