Job summary

Finchley Catholic High School is seeking a Senior Science Technician (Physics Specialism) to lead the technician team and support high-quality science teaching. The role includes ensuring health and safety in practical work and overseeing the management of equipment and resources within the Physics department.

The post is 36 hours per week, five days, term time plus one week. Salary SCP 10-13 (£31,611 - £33,012 FTE, pro-rata £27,038 - £28,236) with pro-rata actual pay for part-time or term-time

• Strong awareness of health and safety in a laboratory or workshop setting.

We are seeking a Senior Science Technician to become a valuable member of our support team. The core role will be to lead the technician team in supporting the high-quality teaching and learning, and monitoring the health and safety of practical work that takes place in the department on a daily basis. They will also lead on the management of resources and equipment.
