Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician for a full-time role at a mainstream secondary school in Kidbrooke, London. You will support the Science Department with practical lesson preparation and ensure equipment and resources are ready.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Physics, be reliable, well-organised, and able to work independently in a safe laboratory environment. Immediate start with a trial day possible.

Job description

Location: Kidbrooke £159 per day 8:00am – 4:00pm Full-time Immediate start A mainstream secondary school in Kidbrooke is looking for an experienced Senior Science Technician to join their Science Department on a full-time basis. The school would ideally like someone with a strong understanding of Physics, although they are also open to considering a confident Science Technician with strong generalist knowledge across the Sciences. The role will involve supporting the Science Department with the preparation and organisation of practical lessons, ensuring equipment and resources are ready for use and helping maintain a safe, well-organised and effective laboratory environment. The school is looking for someone reliable, organised and confident working independently, with a good understanding of science equipment and practical procedures. The role is available immediately and the school is happy to arrange a trial day for suitable candidates.
